Content Project Manager

A growing, fast-paced agency, McLellan Writing Team is seeking a content project manager to ensure a stellar experience for our clients at every touchpoint in our content creation and delivery process. Since 1994, we have delivered enterprise-class marketing strategy and content for many of the technology companies in the Fortune 500.

Join our team and bring your organizational skills and your mastery of deadlines and schedules to deliver high-quality content for some of the largest technology companies in the world. As the project manager in marketing operations, you’ll handle daily operations and workflows, support remote employees, monitor ongoing projects and budgets, and manage vendors, as needed. You’ll need solid project management skills to manage large volumes of work on multiple cloud platforms and quickly identify priorities, switching between tasks without missing a beat, and communicating clearly with stakeholders. You will work closely with our editorial team and participate in planning and strategy decisions.

You will:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects using project management solutions
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables and adjust workflows to eliminate bottlenecks
  • Produce SOWs
  • Prepare and update project budgeting and financial reporting
  • Participate in project calls with clients
  • Provide project support to the editorial team
  • Document processes and procedures
  • Manage contracted IT support as needed

You must have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in project management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Basic troubleshooting skills in a Windows environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A deadline-driven focus and the organizational skills to support it
  • A collaborative nature – you enjoy working with other talented people
  • Strong organizational skills

Nice to have:

  • Ability to manage cloud solutions and system health for remote laptops
  • Skills to provide technical support for both employees and contractors
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in a Windows environment
  • Familiarity with Teamwork project management software
  • Experience with procurement and vendor onboarding procedures


Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

$75,000-$90,000, depending on experience.

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week.

Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
